- NC State is hosting 3 related events: a Macaulay2 mini-school, on July 14-15; ISSAC, on July 16-19; a Workshop on Differential Algebra, on July 20-22. The deadline to apply for funding is May 14. More information here.
- The workshop on “Real-World Applications of Geometry and Algebra” will be held in Eindhoven on June 13-14, 2024. More on the conference website.
- There will be a workshop on “Betti numbers in commutative algebra and equivariant homotopy theory” at Bielefeld University, September 23-27, 2024. Funding deadline: May 31.
- Macaulay2, Computational Algebraic Geometry and String Theory at the University of Utah: conference on May 28th – May 30th and school on June 1st – June 5th.

- The Conference on Commutative Algebra and its Interaction with Algebraic Geometry and Algebraic Combinatorics, on the occasion of Uwe Nagel’s 60th Birthday, will be held at Notre Dame on August 12 – 16, 2024.
- The conference Commutative Algebra and Singularity Theory, in honor of the 80th Birthday of Professor Kei-ichi Watanabe, will take place at Osaka Metropolitan University, on September 9–13, 2024.
- The International Workshop on Commutative Algebra and its Interactions to Combinatorics will be held at the Chern Institute of Mathematics, Tianjin, China on September 16-30, 2024.

- The Master Class on Derived Category Methods in Ring Theory will be held at Aarhus University on August 13-16, 2024. The deadline to apply for funding is June 1, 2024.
- The Fall School on Methods in Mixed Characteristic Geometry will be held in Mainz, Germany, October 7th to 11th, 2024. Funding deadline: June 10.

- Jürgen Herzog passed away on April 23. An event in his honor was held at SLMath/MSRI on May 6; a recording of the event can be found here.
- There will be a semester-long thematic program on commutative algebra and its applications at the Fields Institute in Toronto, Canada from January 1 to June 30, 2025.
- The Spring 2024 Commutative Algebra semester long program is on-going SLMath/MSRI, and ending next week.
