There will be two Special Sessions of interest to commutative algebraists at the AMS Eastern Sectional Meeting in Tallahassee, FL, March 12-13, 2004.
Bill Heinzer and James Brewer are organizing a Special Session in honor of Robert Gilmer and Joe Mott: Forty Years of Commutative Ring Theory at Florida State University.
Also, Irena Peeva and Chris Francisco will organize a Special Session on Syzygies and Hilbert Functions.
