[Georgia Tech] Building the Future of Macaulay2

May 17 - May 21

The week-long workshop Building the Future of Macaulay2 will be hosted at Georgia Tech from Sunday–Thursday, May 17–21, 2026.

This workshop will bring together students, researchers, and developers for hands-on collaboration on Macaulay2 projects, with an emphasis on internal development, infrastructure, and long-term sustainability of the system. Participants will work closely with experienced developers, contribute code, explore mathematical applications, and help shape the future direction of Macaulay2.

The organizers especially encourage applications from:
– Graduate students and early-career researchers
– Developers interested in mathematical software and open-source systems
– Macaulay2 users who would like to begin contributing to the project
