[Ischia, Italy] Workshop on Weak and Strong Lefschetz Properties across Mathematics

The Workshop on Weak and Strong Lefschetz Properties across Mathematics will take place October 19-23, 2026 at the
Hotel Terme Tritone Resort & Spa, Ischia, Italy.

The arrival day is October 18th.  The number of participants is limited, due to the capacity of the conference room.  We have very limited funds for accommodation and travel expenses for a few participants.  The deadline for application for financial support is March 31st, and the deadline for registration is September 19th, or until the maximum number of participants is reached. This workshop advances the study of Lefschetz properties in commutative algebra and related fields, fostering collaboration among researchers in topology, algebraic geometry, combinatorics, and more.  Goals include promoting cutting-edge research, mentoring junior mathematicians, and enhancing leadership, particularly for women and early-career researchers.  The event supports academic growth for under-represented and geographically isolated participants.  Research talks reflecting the field’s latest advancements and interdisciplinary collaboration aim to spark innovative ideas and breakthroughs, contributing to the progress of this dynamic area of study.
