The conference “PASI 2009: Commutative Algebra and its connections to Geometry” will be held in Olinda, Brazil, August 3-14. The two-week program will honor Wolmer Vasconcelos. The first week will consist of six mini-courses. The second week will be an international workshop. For more information, see the conference website.
