SUMMARY:[Auburn Alabama] Macaulay2 at Auburn
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a collaborative workshop bringing together graduate students\, postdocs\, and faculty to develop Macaulay2 software for mathematical research. Participants will work in groups with expert project leaders\, learn through hands-on coding and tutorials\, and build new collaborations across algebra\, geometry\, and combinatorics. All levels of Macaulay2 experience are welcome. \nProjects include toric geometry\, matroids\, quadratic forms\, tropical intersections\, and p-adic computation. The workshop offers opportunities to contribute to open-source mathematical software while learning new mathematics and practical development skills. \nApply by January 6\, 2027\, for funding consideration.
