The “Commutative Algebra and Algebraic Geometry Conference”, organized by Alberto Corso, Sankar Dutta, Claudia Polini, and Hal Schenck, will be held at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Urbana, Illinois) during the period November 4 – 6, 2011.
This conference continues a well established tradition of Commutative Algebra and Algebraic Geometry meetings in the Midwest. Young mathematicians are especially encouraged to attend. There is a limited amount of support provided by the National Science Foundation through the Special Algebra Meetings in the Midwest grant (NSF DMS-0753127). The deadline for being considered for financial support is October 1, 2011.
